Squirrel

by aaron c s   Nov 29, 2005

Cold winter night huddled in a tree,
Keeping together and trying to stay warm.
Gathered the food they'll eat for the season,
Waiting for the spring to come.

Every year the same,
They all come and meet.
And its winter to blame,
For coming together for theses many weeks.

They'll build relationships,
Some that we could never think of.
And it's all because of the winter hardships,
Gaining friends and maybe even love.

Squirrels are the luckiest of them all,
The know how to love and know about friends.
But I think the best thing of all,
Is that their cuteness we can always depend!
