To my 7 year old little cousin distiney, she's got Cystic Fibrosis and her lungs are damaged and she's in the hospital.. please keep her in your prayers god knows she's in mine.

Im thankful for the years that i've been watching you grow.
Though, cant seem to go on with what we now know.

I cry and a pray for a miracle to come through.
because i just couldn't see my life without you.

I just look at you and smile, because i wanna protect you from everything,
Nothing is equal to love in my life that you bring.

I sit and wish for a better tamarrow,
a day filled with smiles, laughter, not sarrow.

I never wanna have to say goodbye.
So i just sit as the night passes by, and all i can do is cry.

I wanna promise you that i'll always be there.
Just think of our happiest times when this pain is just too much to bare.

Listen to my words when i pray for you at night.
And just know your family is here for you through this tough fight.

It's times like these that make my weaknesses clear to see.
But i try so very hard to stay strong for you and me.

I look at you and see a little girl who doesn't know
I wanna continue holding your hand, never wanting to let go.

It's in god's hands now, and he'll do what is best,
He hasnt' stirred us wrong with any of our past tests.

But we keep our prayers open to you, hoping you'll be alright.
We're all praying for you everyday and every night ..
