Can't believe I let you go,
guess i never realized what a good thing i had.
When i read over the messages you sent,
i cant believe i didn't see how good you were to me.
I let you go,
looking back it was such a stupid thing to do.
You liked me for me,
he liked me for what he thought I'd give him.
And by the time he realized i wasn't giving it up and left,
you were gone,
you could only hold on for so long,
after i let you go.
I wish i could speak to you again,
I'd show you this poem and ask for forgiveness,
which i don't deserve.
I was so stupid to let you go,
now i see this there is nothing i can do.
If i ever got you back,
I'd never ever let you go.
