Raindrops on My Windowpane

To he who had forsaken my heart
Be but the drops on my windowpane
As the future bids us do to part
Do not forget in the waters of rain

Look away in the night; sweet lover, dont see
Be the feats of the foes so still to come
Bodies entwined; much past coming free
Whispers of angels in the nights mystic hum

To the fate having brought my soul so to grieve
Be not but the wafts above my head
The war that sought your final leave
Brought on in the storms Iâ??m forced to tread

The loss of life and love its sweet dream
Come back now to me and dry my tears
Cut in the motion; Forgotten the gleam
Weighed in the wander; drawn into my fears

And Yet so alone in the dank of the seas
Sailing along on the oceans so black
Couldnt you hear my cries of hurt pleas?
Or did you yourself swear to never look back?

To you that had forsaken my heart
You are but the drops on my windowpane
So glad I am that were fated to part
As I will forget in the sorrows of pain
