Looking Back On Memories

Sitting on the beach
Looking at the stars
Wondering what your doing
Wondering how you are

Do you smile when your with her
Does she give you the feeling you once knew
Do you love her like you loved me
Do you ever get down and blue

I'm still here waiting
The stupid girl that won't let go
Yea that's me I'm holding on
To someone I no longer know

I loved who you were
When you were with me
But now you're with her
She's all that you see

I just want you to call
See how I've been
But that's too much to ask
Cause it'S now and not then

Do you ever miss
The walks on the sand
When you were always laughing
Always holding my hand

Those times are gone now
Now your with someone new
I hope you do love her
And I hope she loves you too

Ok so I'm lying
I want her to be gone
So you will come back to me
And hold me tell dawn

Like you used to everynight
Call me and say
I love you baby
For forever and a day

That's all changed now
She screwed up everything
And my bestfriend is with you
She is the one to blame

    I love this poem. It has to be one of the best love poems I have ever read. I can soooo relate to this poem and I'm sure that many others can. I really like the line, "yeah that's me I'm holding on to someone I no longer know." That is the one line that reminds me of me and a guy I have liked for about a year now. Yet, no matter how many times I've cried over him, I just can't seem to let go. I love it, keep up the good work!

    Real nice. I liked it. Sounds like true feelings to me. Maybe you should tell this person how you feel if this is whats really going on... but then again im just some random person on the internet.
