Food Fight

I went to school some time ago, with hopes of getting by,
but most of the time I got in trouble, my plans had gone awry.
There is one day that I recall, it started rather plain,
but by the time the lunch bell rang, it had become insane.
You see there was this standing dare that went around the school,
but no one was brave enough to be a crazy fool.
I was feeling brave enough to take up this little task.
You might be wondering what I did, if you even have to ask.
I stood in line, to bide my time, waiting for a spot.
When the lunch lady turned her back, I reached out for her pot.
I ran around the lunch room then, flinging all the dish.
I even dowsed the principal, as was my special wish.
So since that day my nickname is known throughout Southern Philly,
as Sloppy Joe who is good to go, with a pot of chili.
