My dilemma

I'm in love with you ,
yet I don't know what to do.
To let you know my feelings are true,
or to keep them hidden from you.

Either way I seem to lose,
but staying away from you I refuse.
My father's trust is on the line,
but losing you is a fear of mine.

Your so considerate and caring,
my loving you is oh so daring
This dilemma just won't go away,
stuck and confused is where I stay.

I have to chose between the two,
but having one just will not do.
To chose the one who gave me life,
or the 1 who pulled away the knife?

The 1 who is connected by blood,
or the 1 who I have always loved?
Somehow I have to join the two.
Until then, I won't know what to do!
