Lessons

by Jackie   Dec 10, 2005

One day you appeared and stole my common sense,
You broke into my heart and destroyed my picket fence.
You lured me in with your pureness,
then used me like a tool,
And once you got what you wanted
You left me like a fool.
You even tried again, but the timing wasn't right,
You then laughed from a distance,
But you weren't worth the fight.
So I let you slip away,
And erase you from my mind,
Thank you for now I am careful,
And avoid your pointless kind.
However, if i could start over,
I would do it all again,
And if you came to me tomorrow,
I would even do it then.
But this time I would know what, kinda person you really are,
Your a coward and a prick,
You will never make it far.
