White Wings

by Maisha   Dec 13, 2005

I know somewhere,
You're thinking of me.
I know somewhere,
You can hear me.
And I know.

No one could see through you lies,
Like me.
No one could hear your cries,
Like me.

Why didn't you just tell me?
That somewhere deep inside you,
You were flying free.

Your wings stretched
And your mind set
And I couldn't do anything about it.

Pure white wings reflect your innocence,
No one knows but me,
Of those times you tried to see
What heaven looked like.
But you never got there.
Something was standing in your way.

You never knew you were loved by me,
Even though I told you constantly.
You pain told you I was lying
Your pain told me too.

I will always be there to see through your lies
And I'll always be there to hear your cries.
