What is life these days?
To me its all advertisement
Sex, drugs, rock and roll
Thats all you ever see

They make a joke out of love
makes it look like its perfect
What are they trying to make me think?
That its all fun and games

Love can be fun
But it shouldn't be a game
You can't have fun though
When you can't have the one you love

I keep saying it's not love
I can't even see him
When I want to hold him
I can't even get close

I wish it was like the movies
I wish it was that easy
Its so far from that
Its the hardest thing in life

Theres always something in the way
You're either miles away
Or you have a girl your suppose to love
Well maybe even both

Then theres those fights
The ones that happen every day
and I am the one to blame
