Hunter and a father

by Larka   Dec 15, 2005

Looking dark against the moonlight..
On a cold and wintery night..
So proud and so majestic..
Muscles rippling with his might...
His coat bristling in the coldness..
Head held high against the moon..
Howling to his family..
His mate would give birth very soon..
He knew he would be welcome..
See his wolf cubs, hear their cries..
Hunt to feed their hunger..
Listen to his she wolf\'s sighs..
From his hill, he surveyed his territory..
Life bounding before him..
He looked at his she wolf and sighed..
