Nothing You Could Say

by ¤Brenda¤   Dec 16, 2005

In your hands
Lie the pieces
Of my shattered heart

And in your eyes
The reflection
Of a love being torn apart

In your touch
Is the reason
I wake every day
And on my lips
The words I will
Forever long to say

In my hearts the expression
Of lonliness and regret
And in my mind the question
If my love will be easy
For you to forget

Out of my mouth pour
Words of sweet remenise
Of the breath I gasp for
Every time we kiss

Ringing in my ears
Is the sound of how hard
Four years without you
Is going to be

In my eyes the tears
Burning at an impossible degree
Because of mistakes that have torn
Apart your trust in me

For thoes mistakes
I take the blame
And I know things
Will never be quite the same

I cant make you believe
What I say is real
All I can do is reassure you
Every day how I feel

And hope that one day
You will see
Exactly how much
You mean to me

And that theres nothing
You could say or do
That could ever stop me
From loving you

Wonderful poem. I gave it a 5. I basicly loved the entire thing. But, the end was particularly good. Keep up the good work.
