This is something a lot of parents go through, I know it must tough and children are great motivators. you did an excellent job as always...keep it up!

This poem has so touched my heart and blurred my eyes with tears ....
I have a very close family member (brother ) who is an alcoholic striving to set his life straight ..
This part is my fav :

a room of addicts on New Years eve
with motivation to be forever clean
Making promises that most will break
but he’s determined to reach his peace

Hope and determination holds the key ...
I pray and have hope my brother will have the strenth and determination to find his peace ...

If someone is determined and has the power to believe in themselves. Then giving up something such as alcohol can be done.
