Bill, this was a beautiful write, emotional and sad full of sorrow and pain, I wish you to find that ray of sunshine bill, I hope it finds its way through the darkness to comfort you at this time, imagery was wonderful!

"I am awash on the sea of life rudderless and alone
Rising and falling with the swells of my life
Exposed to the elements drowning in pain
There is supposed to be so much more to this life
Somehow it has turned to heartache and strife"

    Fantastic stanza well done!
    Take care

This poem was great....but it made me so sad. Don't ask why, it just did. So much sadness all together in a poem. Great poem tho. You're great.
I am looking for a ray of sun to enter my life
A passing vessel to throw me a line and give me a tow
Once I find port I know I can repair my life's ship
Until that time I will drift about on the raging sea
Watching and waiting as these changes wash over me.

Bill! Your one of those rare writters that make me breifly contemplate "Why write anymore? Bill says it perfectly?" Course I never do follow my own advice, eitherway, thanks for that. The topic crudely blunt, but the image you capture through that beautiful
