I never really realised why they called it a crush

I guess its like a sudden feeling like a sudden rush

every time I’m with you, you just make me smile

And when you kiss my check good night my whole life seems worth while

But the reason why its painful, why its got such a cruel name

Is because with all my love you don’t feel the same

I’m not to sure if you realised how much I really do

But how come every one else has, everyone but you

For Christ sake I can’t say it those simple words to your face

But I guess you’ll have to realise that my heart is out of place

Someday I will speak the words the words that haunt my soul

The words that were meant for you for me to be your girl

So until the day you understand how much I really do
