Poem for you

by DevilWithin   Dec 19, 2005

Even though I might have been mean,
you have lived it through to be sixteen.
Even though I bought these to be mine,
They fit you perfectly and make you shine.
We laughed during the good times
We wept during the sad times
We try to be in each other's shoes
It does not work out not even the blues.
We have our differences and friends,
but our friendship will never end.
We are sisters through and through.
Even though it might not look like it, it's true.
So, on this very chilly day of December
I want you to be here and remember.
This is not just an ordinary day
It happens to be your birthday.

    Nice!
Put a smile to my face, the meanings of the words.
    Felt the feeling.
    Rock it on gurl!
    Laterz,
    Shirlz
