I saw you look straight at me
but the thing is you still did not see
you did not see the hurt in my eyes
you messed all those innocent lies

you missed those words that were said in between
missed those awesome memories as a teen
you gave me your pure heart to me
your heart was poured with lies that i could see

you cheated behind my shallow back
as you lie my heart turns to black
you never knew those tears i cried for you
they were the cold tears that made me blue

you act so innocent and kind
as if everything you told me i would behave as a child
but I'm older now,i know hate, love and pain
how its awesome to be kissed in the rain

how the pain grows in your heart with every lie
how you stay up all night just to cry
then those days when you say your everything to me
yet you feel so miserable because no one can see

you would do anything for that special one
you lay there together in that bright yellow sun
thinking back this was the one that cheated on you
yet you would like everything to be false not true

you want to cry every moment of the day
you want to say " i love you" to that person today
but it won't be right because of what they did and said
so you curl up thinking of suicide thoughts wishing you were dead
