Seems So Long Ago

I lived but easy walking distance from here. So many memories, so loving and yet so very painful.

It seems in so short a time that memories can seem so very long.

So fresh but still in the very distant past.

As I go there now it feels like such a different place that i remember. A place that was so warm and inviting and normal.

Now its such an uncomfortable and empty place for me to be.

I never imagined my life being like, so confusing.

When I was young I never thought of all the little details that make things work.

Never thought of all the hardships that i would en dour.

Only of the little happy things that would happen, the best of them all.

I'm so young but yet I have already gone through so many hardships.

Still so young and still knowing that there are still many many more hardships along the way.
