Cloudiness ( Actual Love Poem)

by Michael   Dec 22, 2005

And it wept,
the sky broke open
revealing endless tears
...rain...
...it shrouds me again...

Days pass
even when the sun show’s it’s face
it seems damp,
cloudy
more like loneliness
with my shadows.

Yet
in my vision
not only does the sky open
but so does heaven itself
every time
I see you.

The rain scatters
but I stay
see you as an umbrella
sadness turns to happiness
rain departs.

Now
days like these
are more familiar
only that the heart
within my chest
whispers in ears
the name I dare not speak.

Dare not let go of
my memory of you
every time it rains
cause far off in the distance
your presence lingers there.
