You'll never know

Of all the things i miss the most,
I miss you loving me.
Of all the things I want to change,
is back to how things use to be.
Of all the things that I regret,
it's the feelings now in me that grow.
So I try to shut them out
and pray you'll never know.
If I just stay antsy and keep on smiling,
and keep refusing to look your way.
Then hopefully these feelings will pass
and I'll finally get through one day.
One day I hope to pass you by
and not watch you in the hall.
One day I hope see you in class
and never notice how time can stall.
One day I plan to see you,
and say I love you still.
For in my heart is a place for you,
no one can ever fill.
So I've lost you my beloved,
but I still have you my friend,
and though my heart is breaking,
I know it's not the end.
So I'll hold my head up high
and look like I've let go,
but I'll keep the truth inside,
and pray you'll never know.
