I've held on to you as long as I can,
Now I know it's time, as sorry as I am.

I love you, more than words can say,
I don't want it to end this way.

You broke my heart, and made me cry,
But I always forgave you, once I looked into your eyes.

I knew that deep down you loved me too,
But not near as much as I loved you.

I know that things are different now, I know that you've changed alot,
But I don't think it's enough to fill this empty spot.

You stabbed my heart with a knife,
Now I'm letting you go to live your life.

It doesn't make much sense, that I can say goodbye,
After all those times you made me cry.

I finally realized, if we are mean to be, we'll be,
But we just have to wait to see.
