Childhood Friends

by ~@ngel Whisperer~   Dec 23, 2005

We've made faces 'till it hurt to smile,
we've skipped and jumped and done cartwheels for miles,
had sleepovers for whole weekends,
and swore we'd always be the best of friends.

Through first loves and pillow fights,
camping trips and making firefly lights,
transforming into butterflies,
our budding friendship never dies.

We'll be reminiscing about our growing pains
as we're leaning on our carved out canes.
Forever young in our hearts we'll be.
Best friends together, you and me.
