I love you too

by megan   Dec 27, 2005

For you
I am a fool
I would do anything
For you to bring
your arms around me
I would giggle with glee
but that could not ever happen
no matter what I do
I am always a friend
Until the end
The person who
was just like you
oh how I wish that we
could forever be
in love
As doves
they love for life
while true love cuts you like a knife
Always friends but never more
Hoping and praying wanting umore
Wishing and waiting until we die
to tell our best friend the truth as we cry
Of how youve always loved him
and now its time to go
up to heaven far away
to find true love some other day
as the tears roll down his eyes
he speaks softly
the last five words she ever hears
Iâ??ve always loved you to
Oh how he wished he had the courage to say that years ago
how would thing be different this he would never know
he is old and becoming ill
for without her his heart stands still
as he lays down to bed
he holds his hands to his head
and prays
he falls asleep but right before he must do
something he needed to do
he whispered softly as he dies I love you too
