Unicorn Tears

Flickering in the fields,
glittering eyes,
beautiful cries,
it's all told in a lullaby,
their glorious smile,
only lasts for a little while.

The shimmer in there eye,
makes you wonder when they'll spread their wings and fly..

Beating hooves and racing hearts,
it's impossible to say they'll fall apart, just the two of them in the sky, it'll all last long until the end of night..

Some say they aren't real,
they're all just a fairytale,
but what lies in a young one's dream, is a beautiful world filled with amazing things..

Creatures big and small,
colors all over the world;
it brightens their smiles,
puts hope in their eyes,
it's so beautiful it makes you want to cry..

Dawn is almost near,
should it be their time to fear?
When the dreams will disappear,
and they'll wake to their own world..

Or will the fantasies, and fairy tales finally end and fail.. When they go back to dream, and what they were meant to see.. Isn't there;
and everything dies?

When every child steps up,
and looks into it's eyes..
Magical things will happen,
and the lullabies will come back,
it's all inside the mystical things,
the simple ones of life...

Just one Unicorn Tear,
and back in their dreams;
in the songs they sing,
in their spirit that rings..
It'll all last long..
For a little while...
