The Tears I Cry (For Claire)

by Amy   Dec 31, 2005

*To Claire. I know your going through hell. its all in your work. i know your hurt. i know your pain. This is for you chicky :P

here i am, once again
being torn to pieces, again tonight
and its all, all because of him
i thought you were the one

just yesterday, i felt so strong
love would stop, this from going all wrong
today ill sleep, all alone
i am barely hanging on

she always knew, how i felt about him
that didn't stop her from coming and meddling
trying to get herself a name, her only chance of fame
by going out with the guy that i dream

i cant eat, and i cant sleep
i cant dream, nothing feels right
she never saw the tears i cried,
in this painted happy life

now hes so far, far away from me
nothing i do can save me now
I'm drowning in this world of loosing love
drowning in the tears iv cried

cause she didn't care, and he didn't see
now I'm fighting for life, once again
fighting a loosing battle
my life will never be the same

he was the one id dream of
the one i longed for, why cant i
ever find the words to say
say how you make me feel tonight

well I'm all grown up now
love cant hurt me, no, but why
you keep asking me how i feel
but you wont see the tears i cry

you wont see how i feel, inside
just hold me tight, I'm breakable
don't drop me, or i may break
but you will never see the tears i cry

you wont see the tears i cry
in this painted happy life
you wont see the tears i cry
in this painted Happy life
