Celestial Friends

by .:*Nicole*:.   Jan 1, 2006

The Moon, a glowing white orb in the sky
Always there, but not always visible
Sometimes covered be the dark nighttime clouds
When day comes, it is replaced by the Sun
Its friend shines, giving the Moon a good nap
The Sun shines so bright it lights up the world
Soon twilight comes, and the Sun says goodbye
With a wonderful array of color

Moon comes to his glory, lighting the night
O so softly, letting the people sleep
In the dark and silence under the stars
While the Sun is resting, trusting the Moon
To keep watch over the sleeping planet
But then the cycle begins once again

Please rate/comment!! I will return the friendly act to everyone who does!
