Sometimes I Love You Isn't Enough

by Never*gonna*make*it   Jan 1, 2006

My 17th birthday turned into fright as they rushed my grandfather to the emergency room that night.

I had no idea what was in store for me. As soon as I heard I hit my knees.

I watched my aunt sit and cry. I bowed my head and asked God why?

I quietly heard him answer me, "Listen my child and you will see that the world entirely revolves around me.

I hold the power of who comes to me and for now my child, just let him rest. Just let him be.

There isn't anything your family can't take and this is just what happens to be at stake.

So, keep your head up my friend, and don't walk with shame. I made life a gamble and you're still in the game."

Thank you Lord. I hear you loud and clear. And tomorrow the first thing I'll tell him is there's nothing to fear.

I'll let him know how much I love him and how I've always loved him so.

I'll say, "Grandpa, you're perfect and I'll never let you go! I really, really Love you and I just thought I'd let you know!"

Dedicated to Grandpa Kellett(A.K.A Papa Boo Boo) who was diagnosed with lung cancer in August 2005. I love you and we will all miss you when you go!
