No Strings

by cristin handwerk   Jan 2, 2006

Your eyes glistened at every glance
Your lips tingled with every kiss
You smiled at every touch
You seemed so in love with me,
I yearned for you, couldn't you see?

Your passion for me seemed as an undying craving.
Every time I stepped into a room I swore I saw you try to catch your breath.
Every time I carresed you body, I could feel the goosebumps spring from your skin.
Every deep, fulfilling glance I gave you, I felt your heart skip a beat.

You seemed attached, so sure I wouldn't leave.
You started to grow used to my exilerating love.
You seemed as if you knew all about me,as if you were in control of every move.
But I don't need you, just let me prove.

I seemed as your muse
I seemed as your toy
I don't need to waist my amazing love on you.
You thought you had me figured out.
But oh you were so very wrong,
For you I will not sing this song.

I was really nervous about writing a heartfelt piece like this, I'm very curious what people think of it though. I would love to know what you thought about it or any advise would be helpful, and please rate it!
