TWO SOULS' YEARNING

by Munir Mezyed   Jan 3, 2006

I hear your soul sing to mine

In love's ecstasy they eternally glow

Do we have the courage to open our hearts

Letting our souls mingle entirely in delight

Reach out with tempting passion

While they are lost in silent whispers

And Dance to soft rhythms

Our souls find other ways to commune

With one another

Soundlessly and more powerfully
I chasten myself just for the notion

But amorous spirits my soul would not recall

I find my self drowning in an ocean

Of endless desires

Knowing just how you feel

Enfold you in my arms

And feel your breath inhaling me

Not just reflections, to share your desires

Embowered in sweet bursts of affection

Where passion rages and love aspires

Is it merely a vision

An echo that rings in the silence

Leaving me behind
