Us Again

There's something been wanting to tell you
but I'm not quite prepared to dive in too deep.
brace yourself because I've been thinking of this,
what if we were to start all over, start us over?
it's a whole new year and if we take it slow
i think we might make it, this could be something real.
we took our break and i got used to change
but every now and then I'm frightened again
how will i know if you're prepared for that?
I'm afraid to ask, what if you say no? or worse,
what if you say yes and we're in over our heads?
but we share something that keeps us attracted
and thats our need for constant affection
and I'm ready, are you ready?
i think i might be ready now.
