Truth Hurts

by Johnny Wells   Jan 4, 2006

Who ever thought that
Love could ever leave one
So blind not to realize the truth?
All the while I was thinking of you,
Contemplating of ways to love you more,
You were in the arms of another
Like I didn't matter.
Now that I am without you
I am free to breathe
A gasp of air before unknown.
A never-ending pain finally let go.
Now I am sitting here with my new love.
Differences could not be greater.
Finally a true devotion to
Something greater than anything
Else I have ever felt before.
Not one that is false and untrue
But one that is real and vivid.
