A Winter Road

by Violet   Jan 8, 2006

The Road is long,
it stretches endlessly into the woods,
Curving and slithering like a meandering river.

The bare trees bend over it, protecting it,
The Road's pebbles creak silently.

The snowflakes fall silently, stealthily,
They gracefully land on The Road,
like mother nature's decoration.

The Road is a earthly heaven,
A place of relaxation, of demure resting.

The Road awaits you.
