I woke up this morning and without a doubt
realized I was in love, there was no backing out

then a smile came, it's been there ever since
not a night in shining armor, but you are my prince

your voice echos to the depths of my soul
ever reaching ever turning, making me whole

it is your presence that I seek to share,

the touch of your hand gently caressing my face
each and every moment I choose to embrace

wrapping your arms around me as if not to let go
