Sent From Above
Things had gotten so hard in life and at home
I spent all the nights crying about everything
But one day I met this guy not knowing he was a blessing
I saw something in him as soon as he glanced my way
We ended up together holding each other
I was never once sad with him in my arms
I never thought about anything that was wrong in my life
i just thought about him
I fell so head over heels in love with him
The moments i spent with him were all I thought about
He always seemed to put a smile on my face no matter how bad things were
He changed me and taught me so many things in life and made me a better person
Every night I thanked God for sending him to me
and blessing me with this angel that was sent from above
Well I started to understand what "nothing good last forever" meant
things went bumpy for a while but we would always put that behind us
Then one day came and I finally decided to give him myself and show him my love
It was so beautiful
Now here I am writing this poem and we are no longer together
I was stupid and naive and i lost the best thing that ever happened
Now instead of being in his arms today, i am wishing to be in his arms
but there is someone else in his arms right now
I was so pathetic at first and chasing him and begging for him
But he told me things that tore my heart up into a million pieces
It's painful to think about him and it kills me all over again
I love him and he's to blind to see that
I;m not good enough for him
I could give him more than anyone could ever give him in the whole world
no one will ever love him more than i do and he chooses to push it away
I still thank GOd every night for sending me this angel sent from above
and i realized that i was his angel sent from above....
