Dont you dare

by Katharine   Jan 10, 2006

Dont you dare tell me what love is,
Dont you start to explain it to me,
Dont you laugh at me when I try to believe in it,
Dont you tell me that loves not the key,

Love cant be replaced,
Love cant be renewed,
But if you just give me a chance to show you,
And not yell at me and be rude.

I cant tell you what you meant to me,
I cant put in to words how much i cherished you,
So look at me in the eyes and tell me you love me,
Because deep down inside we both know you do

You look at me in fear,
You look at me in praise,
But dont look at me in wonder,
For I love you in so many different ways.

The key is most certainly love,
The lock is between you and me,
So hold me tight and dont let go,
Just beleive in the key, & the lock that seperates you and me.

For if that key gets lost,
Somewhere in this journey,
Our love cant be unlocked,
Which is what we both long so passionatly

Many times I will call your name,
Many days I will search for you,
But dont you dare try explaining this to me.
dont you even start to tell me love is not the key!
