Beauty of the Clearing

by Andreea   Jan 10, 2006

~*I would like to give a special thanks to John Steinbeck, who helped me a lot on this :) I advice u all to read his books! They're awesome, and meaningful!*~

The deep green pool,
Still in the late afternoon.
Hilltops were rosy,
As the sun left the valley.
A far rush of wind sounded,
Formed the tops of the trees like a wave.
Sycamore leaves,
Turned up their silver sides.
And row on row,
Of tiny wind waves
Flowed up the pools green surface.
As quickly as it had come,
The wind died,
And the clearing was quiet again.

~*I still kinda have to fix it up a bit I think it's a little rough around the edges*~
