LOVE AND RAIN

by Munir Mezyed   Jan 10, 2006

She contemplates
The night, the sea, and the sky,
Baffled and amazed with the crying.
Sea nymph appears unto her
What is puzzling you?
Why does He cry?
Heaven and Earth are in love.
Secretly they meet,
Away from the eye of the wind.
When the wind blows,
They take leave.
Thereby He cries.
She rises, running in haste,
Pleading,
"I love you,
Do not cry."
