Under my bed

by Busted Halo   Jan 11, 2006

(This is about the monster that lives under the bed.The good guy doesn't always win.)
His breath is like ice
My fear it does entice
Taunting me with screams of the undieing dead
It's growl scratches my skull
It penetrates me head
I believed the lie it once said
It's put a weight around my neck
Stabbed my heart with a spear of lead
You cannot see the invisible blood I bled
I believe it lives under my bed
The creature stands in the shadows of night
Torchering,poisoning,feeding my fright
I'm to tired to fight
The darkness stole my interpretation sight
Pull the sheets over my eyes
Hoping for sweet morning light
I pray silently before I say goodnight
I didn't get to say goodbye
unable to make amends
It's too late now...
I'm hit with death's enchanting kiss

(This is about the monster that lives under the bed.The good guy doesn't always win.)
