Love sonnet

by Michael Reyes   Jan 15, 2006

When God created all the Earth,
He toiled as he created thee,
Joy filled the world at thy birth,
The Earth rejoyc'd as thou camest to be.
The sun with its magnificent golden light,
Eclipseth not thy beauty,
Nor shall the world be darkened by the night,
As the night is lit by thee.
The world at thy beauty marvels in awe,
Thu, nature's gem, art a wondrous mystery,
When my eyes first thy radiance saw,
I collapsed for love of thee.
E'en tho' nature in wonders and beauty doth abound,
Nothing as beautiful as thee can ever be found.
