I looked over at you and you caught my eyes
I heard you were taken so I cried out deep inside
I took another which was a mistake
She hurt me bad but you kept me safe
You were my best friend which didn't last
I fell for you hard
I fell for you fast
I felt something I never knew
That my love for you was very true
You had me from the start
Now you'll always have my heart
