More then a friend or just a friend

I want to be with him,
I know that for sure.

But if I do go out with him ,
And it does not work out,
It could ruin our friendship,
Permanently.

Where if I don’t go out with him,
Our friendship could last forever.

Right now I am stuck,
Between a rock and a hard place,
And they are both pushing for there worth.

What do I do.
Which is the better decision.
Do I take the risk,
Or do I stay the safe route.

I really don’t know.

This is one of the hardest decisions,
I have to wrestle with.

I need advice.
I need help.
I need support.
