Forsaken

Everyone step right up I have a tale to tell
One of a boy trapped under a spell
This tale is for those who have loved and have had there heart broke
This is a true story no joke
Once upon a twelfth-grade dream
A boy traveled to far down stream
Lost and confused lost all hope
Kid had tried everything from alcohol to dope
He wanted to escape this world of nightmares
Rejected by all nobody cares
Losing his grip on reality path is drawn
Low self-esteem he feels he has no brain or brawn
No defenses he is open to any abuse
Desperately trying to find a way to avoid the noose
As his days draw to the end
A light appears someone offered to be a friend
Showing compassion and care it starts to heal what is torn
Turned his cold heart warm
Tells him she cares, she worries, open up, sheâ??s here
He trust her and tells her everything she said not fear
She would protect him from the words that dig deep
In his head they would seep
She was small and fragile yet strong
He thought to himself â??what is wrongâ??.
He thought who would protect her from physical harm
That boy had the demons take control and then the spark
The boy took one step into the dark
He would return the favor with force
She grabbed him pulled him out he went way of course
She slapped him and asked did it hurt you
The boy nodded his head she said why would you do it to
Use your words to fight
Never draw away from the light
As months go by the boy felt something he never felt before
He is left speechless as she walks through the door
He notices when angered her presence is the calm
When she hugs him he feels the sweat gather in his palm
His sadness is now joy
Has he found his Helen of troy
She has almost changed everything
But there is still that one something
She senses it and fears it
She loves him but its to deep in the pit
She can't see it
He tells her to be his
She wants to but rejects this
She asked him to wait
Again he steps into the darkness is it fate
He lashes out at her using his words that burn
Unleashing something to bring her down it was her turn
Again she lashes back reminding him who he is and what is dormant
Without her he would be left in his torment
He is brought to his knees this boy strong as steel
Brought to his knees by the one who made him feel
As the boy lowers his head in shame
She still feels he isn't to blame
She again ask him to wait
She knows she must help him before its to late
She teaches him honesty, trust
He soon forgets about lying and lust
He even smiles, and laughs, and makes friends
Everything seems fine has she tied up all the loose ends
All is not as it seems deep down he hides a single feeling
This is the darkest of his being
He acts like he lost his feelings for her
Her stomach starts to stir
She wanted his love, but he covered it well
This is the turning point, everything goes straight to hell
She is tempted by another and she soon falls
He sees them walking in the halls
Jealousy soon kicks in
He turns and tries to reason for he will commit the sin
Able to control his anger for now
He walks away but how
He prevents his heart to go astray
He tries everything he can to win her back
Confesses everything to her trying to bring it back on track
The other brings her gifts, flowers, and rewards him with a kiss
The boy thinks why is he given bliss
And I left with this
A broken heart
That was shattered apart
The boy clenches his fist the demon is due
But remembers the slap he knew what to do
Fist bruise the outside but words seep deep
He will go to her in one last try
He saw her sitting but the other wont let him by
He pushed the boy, he lets it slide
He asked him to move aside
Again the boy is pushed this time into a wall
The demon speaks he stands tall
Do it again and you will regret it
Silence all noise left the room
Did this spell his doom
The boy notice she is watching yet she stands still
The other calls him names taunts and threatens the boy feels ill
Has she forsaken him, the one she cared about
She stands there yet no help she has without a doubt
The boy turns to look at her for help and then is struck
The boy felt like he got hit by a truck
The boy looks up at her stares at her tear filled eyes
He is betrayed he falls to the floor and there he lies
The other walks up to her and she rewards him with a kiss
The boy thinks to himself and I am left with this
