What I Didn't do

I regret that despite all the chances, I never told you how I felt.
I regret that for all that time, I kept things to myself.
I regret that I didn't tell you I was upset, I didn't let you see me cry.
I regret that when I wanted to work it out, I didn't even try.
I regret not saying things you wanted me to, I never told you what was wrong.
I regret that I pretended I was fine, when I was hurting all along.
I regret when I avoided you and didn't talk to you when I was upset.
I regret that I let you go and didn't try to make it work instead.
I regret that even when things were over, I didn't ask if we could still be friends.
I regret everything for it's too late for us, we have reached the end.
I regret that I'm still thinking of you, I should be able to forget.
But it's my fault that I did it all wrong and I'm left with my regrets.
