Waiting

The time came but now it's gone
it only took a moment for my world to go wrong
what should have been happy turned out to be pain
what should have been sunshine turned out to be rain
it started with a happy memory
I miss the feeling nut it was only temporary
it feels like I've been stabbed with a blade
my heart was thrown away, not saved
now that we are far apart
the silence is starting to break my heart
as my pain begins to lead
the cuts deepen and start to bleed
I've been in misery for way too long
this feeling of pain is just too strong
the cuts are deep and filled with pain
the sorrow deeper, filled with shame
I have answers but to wrong questions
is this a dream or a lesson?
I'm filled with pain that I'm hating
I'm losing my mind as I sit here, waiting
