One Crimson Tear

by ghastlyshadows   Jan 18, 2006

Walking through the forest among the fallen trunks of ancient, wisdom filled trees, she begins to wonder. Had he not found her, how could she believe? what would her life be like? Leaning against the strong trunk of a grandfather oak, feeling the smooth moss growth against her cheek, she waits. Tonight us a night, just one among many, where she awaits him. But tonight he will not come, because this man represents ll that hold her head above the water, all that she loves,... and all that she loves has been carried away. She asked him, she has always pleaded with whatever god may have been listening..."Please lord,please...one man, one person to love me despite all, one person, lord one,...just one for me" and as the tears came to her eyes, she knew tonight would be the last, because the hatred was to thick, and the blood was flowing freely.

Upon the ground falls her inhibitions, nothings left now but the beauty of the night, and this she cannot see. For all that she loves, has been carried away.

And as she begins running, no destination in mind, simply to escape, the clear night sky begins to cloud, drastically contrasting her mind, which begins to clear, clear until its blank, and she can hear it. The whispers, the beautiful voices of the ones who have cared. "Do you?...Do you love?" The branches tor into her flesh. She streaked through the forest as the lightening streaked the sky. And as the wind whispered, she answered, " I love, I love greatly, but to no avail....For all i get is pain, and all that I love has been carried away..." They whispered to her, voices of encouragement, and her last words to the world before diving into the abyss were heard, and shook the earth. " Learn while you young, and save yourself, for all that you love will be carried away."
and as the lightening tore the sky,... the world cried one crimson tear for a lost little girl.

*~ If I had to Analise this, what it says to me, is that all I wanted was to express my need of a " night in shining armor," if you will, and my fear of never getting one.... sooo, yeah. there you go.
