Happy Birthday to me

Happy Birthday to me,
Another year gone by,
Oh my gosh doesn't time fly,
Just last year I was turning 18,
Now I'm a year older but, what does it mean?
Will it be another year like all the rest?
A year to put my character to the test,
Will I live up to all the expectations,
and still be here for next years celebrations,
Will it dramatically improve my life to be older?
Will it lighten the burden which I feel I must shoulder?
Well, I guess I'll have to wait and see,
So I'll end here with Happy Birthday to me!!!

    Well love, i know you said you thought this poem was crap but i found it to be quite playful and fun. i hope you don't take this to offence but i thought it was written in a way, simular to that of a child because of the flow. i especially liked this line 'Will it lighten the burden which I feel I must shoulder?' and also 'Well, I guess I'll have to wait and see, So I'll end here with Happy Birthday to me!!!'.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU MY DARLING AND MANY HAPPY RETURNS. nice poem rhyming was appropriate, realistic outlook on life. loved it.
