Ode to Winter

by Elizabeth Ann   Jan 19, 2006

Can you sing O Winter a felling snow storm, caused this blizzard of my senses.
Greet in stardom state this Kingdom bred of ice.
Glory ode the mountains pierced the sky, staggering in the hearth of opposites.
The clouds billow above our seeing eye as her winds relay her melody.

This colossal majesty brings her marvel, bellowing the ton of preening gems is nature. Then we’re human of her kind, level with her womb encompassing warmth.
The ballots come from me this graceful tongue
Saw the elements joined and once I lived
My ode to Winter.
