A Lover's Midnight

by Matt   Jan 21, 2006

The lights are burnt out and the rain pours down
Our hair is soaked and the water runs off it
And the droplets splash off my shoulders
Running down my back and chest
You look up to me, close and sincere
With the rain slowly dripping down your skin
Falling gently off your lips to the ground
We'll press harder against the side of the car
Come closer baby, this is once in a lifetime
We'll whisper sweet nothings into each other's ears
And slowly move our lips together
Your hands and nails drag across my bare skin
The rain might be cold, but we can't feel it
Too much entwined and wrapped together
While the chain around my neck rest gently on my chest
And the glint in your eyes screams something devilish
No one has ever known a feeling like this one
A wink, a smile, a kiss that lasts for hours
The world is silent tonight, and we are hidden from it all.
