Broken and torn

Theres something I recently learned,
Which is killing me at heart.
I dont know how to say it ,
Or even where to start.

It started of as friendship,
And ended with a tear.
The bond between us broken,
Because I thought u didnt care.

And now im being convicted,
Of a crime i didnt do ,
You were the one who broke my heart,
And im suffering the pain for you.

Now im lying in my bed,
And I cant take it anymore.
Youre telling me to trust you,
I want to .. but im not sure .

I want to open up,
but im afraid and so i hide.
Because of what uve done to me ,
Im torn and broken inside .

I'll smile and laugh ,
and pretend that everything's alright .
But when i look in the mirror ,
Its my own war i have to fight.

I tried to get away from you,
by pushing you away,
And deep inside its killing me,
Cus I know I want u to stay.

But now theres 3 in the picture,
And ill be glad to back this one down.
Shes probably everything you've ever wanted ,
And fun to be around .

Its probably best for you and her ,
If i dont interfere,
And ill do you this one thing,
And show you that i care.

And ill be the one to listen,
Even if it breaks my heart ,
Cus i dont want you to be like me ,
Shattered and torn apart.
