Special Threesome

by Stephanie   Jan 22, 2006

Three smiles,
An everlasting gaze,
The park is silent,
Three friends are rejoicing.

A wonderful five years,
The three of us had,
But the sun went down in June,
And the moon, a thorn in the dark; arose.

A life already so horribly scarred,
Tossed about like meat in the mouth of a dog,
Another, hurt and confused,
Both entwined in each other's pain.

Will the sun come out again?
It is beginning to reappear,
Slow and steady wins the race,
Time is slowly healing.
